Affiliates Wanted!

Internet Marketing.

Much has been written about Internet Marketing and, indeed, there are probably thousands of people writing about it right now as you're reading this. However, you already have access to the two most powerful systems of advertising on the net:

bullet

MPAM

bullet

The Traffic Jam

They are the true heavies in online advertising. They do a good job and there's no point trying to re-invent the wheel. Rather, the idea is to use the knowledge that they disseminate to promote our five companies. However, you may want to get started right away, so, I will provide a cut-down version of their teachings, which is meant as a 'Quick Start Guide' rather than a substitute for their lessons. The vast majority of the promotion companies I recommend below are also recommended by MPAM or / and Traffic Jam, so when you get to their lessons covering them, just enter your ID in the box provided - don't join twice!

OK, let's get started:

  1. Go to The Firms and join PayPal and our other five firms, if you haven't already done so.

  2. Go to CrazyBrowser and download it free. It has multiple tabs and so will allow you to load all the Hit Exchanges below in one session. If you save them all in one 'Favourites Folder', they can all be opened at one click.

  3. You will need a Rotator. This is a program like a Roladex - it has a number of 'slots' and every time you call it up, it shows a site. It therefore allows you to advertise several sites with only one link. Kiosk and MPAM have rotators. When you join our firms, they will give you affiliate or referral links. Put these links into the slots of your rotator. This means that every time your rotator is activated, one of your affiliate links will be shown at random.

  4. 'Traffic Exchanges' (TE's) or 'Hit Exchanges' show other people your site, if you look at theirs. You will need to surf a few of these regularly. Here are my favourites (all free):
    bullet

    HitSafari

    bullet

    Vinterchange

    bullet

    WebBizInsider

    bullet

    TopSurfer

    bullet

    Deep Sea Hits

    bullet

    AdvertisingKnowHow

    bullet

    HitPirate

Some of these have rotators too, eg TopSurfer and HitSafari; use them if you want. Where it asks you for your URL, enter your rotator's URL, so that your firms' pages will be shown. Surf them all in rapid succession. You can easily build up 600 credits an hour. Join other TE's by all means. You will see thousands of them; MPAM recommends about 20, but you can only surf 6-10 at a time really.

  5. SafeLists are groups of people who allow others to promote to them. There is a lot of debate going on about whether they are an effective form of advertising. I don't think they are effective, but you have to do it anyway ☺. GDI has banners you can use; MPAM, Kiosk and Traffic Jam have texts and banners; Singles Crowd has campaigns you can set up. Use these or your own writing to promote one firm to one list every day in sequence.

    Cash4U Safelist

    bullet

    Herculist

    bullet

    Optinlister

    bullet

    Amiable Dragon Safelist

    bullet

    Worlds Largest Safelist

    bullet

    Nid's Safelist

    bullet

    HomeBasedBiz

Join others too, but these will get you in front of 100,000 people. You may have to join others to be able to post about all the firms every day, but don't post the same advert to the same safelist two days running. Look out for special offers, where you get free PRO membership or you could join SafelistBoys and automate sending to 250,000+ per week! Don't ignore lists just because they're small - your offer is far less likely to have been put by anyone else!

  6. Free For All (FFA's) are similar to safelists, but are not much use for anything except collecting leads. Advertise in the same way as for safelists.

    bullet

MPCMffa (free with MPAM: 600-1200 leads a day)

    bullet

Kiosk FFA (free with Kiosk: 300-1500 leads a day)

Collect the leads and email them using PHPlist, which is in Fantastico, which is free with Kiosk's Control Panel.

  7. Ezines are very useful for advertising. Write articles recommending the firms and post them with your by-line pointing at your affiliate site. There are many sites that will accept your posting. Here are a couple of examples:

    bullet

Ezine Articles is a good example of a site

    bullet

Snape Publishing and there are many others too

    bullet

Article Marketers' Service one of the best

The program for the first example above is free with MPAM and comes with 25,000 articles (all with Google Ads built in ). Search Google for others.

  8. Classifieds ads sites are similar to their newspaper equivalent. A Google search will reveal dozens similar to these two types

    bullet

    Welsh Products Online Classifieds

    bullet

    AdLandPro

A program like the first one above is free with MPAM. Don't forget FreeAds and your local paper too. Search Google on "free ads".

  9. Offline advertising is important too! Give your firm a name or names: for example "Acme Holdings" (not very imaginative, I know) and direct people to it/them - you could use your GDI site, MPAM site, MPAM niche sites, Kiosk sites and sub domains). Create traditional advertising directing people to the sites or a specific page (firm). Leave flyers lying around or post them through letterboxes; print some business cards and letterheads; put a classified ad in the paper; pin notices to boards in pubs, clubs, canteens and greengrocers, etc.
